WADE'S JOURNAL
April 23 Today we did a photo shoot for Percentage designs on all 3 bikes, BMX, MTB and Moto's. It was a bunch of fun as we had the Team WBR riders' on the Gold Coast and katrina Miller and David Besnard. The most fun for me was doing the Moto shots and having a blast riding the dirt bike again. I will post some of the photos when I get them sent to me.
April 18 I have just returned home from NZ after a 9 day trip with racing 2 of the UCI BMX events. The first weekend I was riding well again but in the semi final Kama, Madill and I tangled going over the jump into the first corner. I came off the worst and did not transfer to the final and ended up with a busted thumb. During the week I went to the MTB worlds course and rode it with some of the locals. This course is huge. I ended up jumping everything on a borrowed bike with my thumb and wrist taped up and have decided to use a hard tail at the World Championships. The second UCI race I was having trouble getting to max speed due to my thumb but this time manage to make the main event. Again there was carnage going into the first corner and I ended up 4th. Willers is now leading the series on 62 my self in 2nd on 57, kama on 56 and Madill on 44.
