WADE'S JOURNAL
July 8th On the weekend at the Southern Zone Regional Championships I was presented with a Honorary Life Member for services to the sport of BMX in South QLD. South QLD is the biggest BMX region in Australia and is compared to Southern California. It is overwhelming receiving such awards that are not just from racing, as like the BMXA coach of the year award. BMX South QLD gave me the opportunity in 2005 to co-ordinate their Regional coaching program. Since then the region has excelled and I have gained the experience to be in the position I am now in as the National Scholarship coach. I would like to thank all the Committee and member's of the Southern Region for their support and the wonderful plaque.
