Team
WBR has been created to support the riders in the cycling world with sponsorship
and athlete development. WBR will put a lot of focus on an unlimited grass roots
program to help the new talented riders to be able to gain sponsorship support
and also be a member of a racing team. With the creation of this program ,Wade
will then be able to assist these riders to become better competitive athletes
by the use of his 24 years of racing experience and Level 3 coaching accreditation
. WBR will also have a Factory Team consisting of 2-4 amateurs riders and
a Professional Racer who is the founder and manager of Team WBR, multi World and
National Champion, Wade Bootes.
Team
WBR will focus more towards BMX and 4X Mountain bike racing within Australia and
New Zealand at the beginning and has a vision to branch off to other cycling disciplines
and countries. WBR has been seen world wide due to the race schedule
of Wade Bootes and team riders. The team will compete all over Australia, New Zealand and China int he 2008 season.
Team WBR was
launched at the National BMX Championships in Cairns, QLD Australia
March 2005. Team WBR continues to accept resumes
for the Factory Team as well as the Grass Root RIDERS
WANTED
Program which will give the riders many benefits for being a part of the race
team. WBR is still accepting sponsors for the program but already have great support
